Renaissance Faire

I went to my first renaissance faire a couple of weeks ago.

It was awesome!

Immediately I wanted to eat everything. However, I got defeated by the first food item I bought, a giant bread bowl of chili.

After chili, I really wanted to nap. I looked to plot down under the shadiest tree, but instead found the Mud Beggars.

They flinged a great show.

At the end of the faire, I saw a jousting match. I didn’t think the knights would joust for real, ’cause it’s super dangerous to get impaled by a long rod charging at horse-speed.

But they did.

A man got knocked down from the horse.

Crazy.
